Village Pointe Farmers Market is a true West Omaha Farmers Market located at 168th and Dodge.
It was established to meet two simple and important ideals:
1. To elevate community awareness of the importance of sustainable, local, family-owned farms
and the wholesome food that comes from them and its importance to our health.
2. And to provide that wholesome food to the community at a location in West Omaha.
Village Pointe Farmers Market proudly accepted the 2010 Compassion Award for Corporate Stewardship
from Together, Inc. (Our farmers donated over 21 tons of food to the Together, Inc. food bank in one season.)

Village Pointe Farmers Market is accepting pre-applications for new vendors for the 2011 season.

For new vendors interested in coming to Market, here are some reasons our current vendors say are important to them:
Location: West Omaha deserves a farmers market and has demonstrated that it will support one.
Low cost: 100% of the vendor fee (around $250 for the season) goes directly to promote the market.
Purpose: The VPFM is for farmers and consumers. It's not a marketing event to promote a business.
Each Saturday, 35,000 automobiles enter Village Pointe through the road the Market is on.
Village Pointe Shopping Center and the VPFM sponsors have committed ample support to promote the Market.
• It's easy and convenient to access and load in; plenty of space and not cramped.
PLUS - we have fun!
Locally grown foods are fresher, more nutritious and you learn about the food you buy from the person who produced it.
When you shop at a real Farmers Market, you are getting the best food you can for your table.
